SoundPeats H1 True Wireless Earbuds Review: Connectivity

First, let’s talk about connectivity. The chipset these are running is one of Qualcomm’s latest, which is the qcc3040. So that’s going to give them access to less power consumption and some advanced features.

These are either running Bluetooth 5.0 or Bluetooth 5.1. Unfortunately, I have not gotten confirmation of that. The codec these are supporting Qualcomm’s aptx. I could see it right there on the website where it says HD audio Qualcomm aptx. The Bluetooth range of these earbuds is around 35 to 40 feet in normal mode.

The modes in just a sec as far as video latency or lag are concerned, I wasn’t experiencing anything with the youtube videos that I watched. And a couple of episodes of a tv show that I watched on Netflix so far so good.

It’s very minimal and precisely what you would expect from a modern set of truly wireless earbuds. But on the topic of latency, one of the advanced features that these do have is high performance or quote-unquote gaming mode.

So what that’s going to do is that’s going to reduce the latency even further. Suppose you want to play any high-performance games then it’s going to tighten up that latency to give you a better gaming experience.

This also translates into video watching and movie watching because then there’s even less lag from people’s mouths to the sound you’re getting in your ears. It was already barely perceptible, but with the gaming, mode turned on.

SoundPeats H1 True Wireless Earbuds Review: Sound Quality

Let’s talk about volume and sound quality. Hybrid drivers with patented crossovers produce so crisp and rich sound that you think you are wearing high-end headphones.

Discover audio clarity ever possible. SoundPeats H1 integrates a balanced armor driver, a customized dynamic driver, and a patented crossover as genetic material to reproduce authentic audio with transparent differences embedded in its DNA.

The 8.6mm dynamic driver transparently recreates the rich details in the midsoles and the trench’s resonance depth, as the music comes alive. The Knowles balanced armature driver removes triplets for exceptional clarity, expressiveness, and dynamic range.

The soundpeats usually do dual dynamic drivers instead of this type of hybrid, where it’s a dynamic driver and a balanced armature. So that’s the main physical difference there, but the sound quality, first of all, brings some very lovely bass deep.

SoundPeats H1 True Wireless Earbuds Review: Battery Life

SoundPeats H1 uses large batteries for a minimum of 35 hours of wireless playback – 6 hours on a single charge with an extra charge in the case. It is quite enough to get the best experience with it.

Truengine se3 vs H1

The main difference between true engine se3 vs H1 is the se3 packing dual dynamic drivers which is a hybrid design with a dynamic driver and a balanced armature.

So the main difference there is the se3s bring you a ton of bass, and some nice mids but the trouble goes they tend to roll off a little bit they don’t have the clarity and the detail that you’re going to get with the h1.

The balanced armature makes a huge difference. Both are tuned very well, but there is a noticeable quality difference in the sound itself.
